Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed railway, which has the world’s longest mileage of one-time construction and the highest speed of railway operation, has officially opened. This dedicated railway is 1068 kilometers long, running through 15 stations in Hubei, Hunan and Guangdong provinces. It is the first high-speed railway which runs 350 km per hour, shortening the full travel time from 10 hours to 3 hours. 2009年12月26日9時(shí)，武廣高速鐵路客運(yùn)專線武漢至廣州北的G1001次列車，從新落成的武漢火車站駛出。世界上一次性建設(shè)里程最長(zhǎng)、運(yùn)營(yíng)速度最快的鐵路——武廣高鐵客運(yùn)新干線正式開通運(yùn)營(yíng)。該客運(yùn)專線全線長(zhǎng)1068公里，途經(jīng)鄂、湘、粵三省15個(gè)車站，是首條時(shí)速350公里的高速鐵路，全程旅行時(shí)間由10小時(shí)縮短為3小時(shí)。 ?
